We Recommend: A Culinary Arts Diploma

A Culinary Arts Diploma is an 18-week program that will give you some introductory training in a professional kitchen and classroom. You will learn the basics of working in the culinary industry while you learn many techniques and gain the knowledge you need to begin working in a commercial kitchen.

This is a great culinary diploma program if you’re looking to get your foot in the door of a commercial kitchen.

Who Should Apply? Students looking to begin a new career in the culinary arts, students looking to get some basic training and begin working as soon as possible.

We Recommend: Sous Chef Training

You would eventually like to work your way up to becoming a professional chef, but you are looking to begin by being employed as a restaurant cook or a kitchen assistant to a chef.   Our 34 Week Sous Chef Diploma, gets you into the kitchen, providing formal hands-on training in a commercial kitchen environment, classroom theory, and work experience to help you begin your journey to becoming a chef.

Who Should Apply? Students looking to begin a new career in the culinary arts, students looking to get enough training to become a cook and begin working as soon as possible.

We Recommend: A Professional Chef Diploma

Our 51-Week Professional Chef Diploma Program offers a hands-on approach to learning the ropes of becoming a professional chef. Your program takes place in our learning kitchen (which is located beside a real, functioning restaurant kitchen), giving you the opportunity to experience what a production kitchen environment is like.   In our Professional Chef Program, you’ll receive formal classroom theory and training, kitchen and production kitchen training and experience and work experience programs.

During your training, you’ll begin from the ground up, finishing with menu and restaurant venue exercises (Our Capstone Chef Management Exercise).

Who Should Apply? Students looking to begin a new career as a professional chef.

We Recommend a Culinary Management Diploma

If you have some experience working as a restaurant cook, or have completed some basic level cooking program, our 18-Week Culinary Management Diploma will help you to move forward in your career as a professional chef.

This program is designed to give you the formal training you’ll need in order to make the move from cook to Chef. Over the course of the 18-weeks, you’ll learn classroom theory, get kitchen and production kitchen experience, learn leadership skills and finish off with our Capstone Chef Management Exercise, where you’ll learn menu and restaurant venue skills.

Who Should Apply? Students with previous cooking experience, looking to move forward in their careers; students with previous culinary training, who want to move forward into becoming a professional chef.
