What’s the difference between the Culinary Arts and Sous Chef Diploma?
The Sous Chef Diploma is an 8-month program and perfect for students with little to no experience, while the Culinary Arts Diploma is a 5-month program ideal for cooks who want to advance their careers. Both programs offer hands-on learning and small class sizes, but the Culinary Arts Diploma program has a shorter duration.
No traditional exam. Instead, you’ll complete a short Assessment for Admissions after your tour. This is an aptitude test that measures your language, reasoning and math skills. It’s designed to help us understand your learning style and support needs—not to stress you out. You are welcome to do this assessment at a later date.
Our diploma programs are fast-tracked to get you into the workforce sooner.

At this time, our campus does not have any student housing options available. However, we do work with a settlement agency by the name of Adrois. All prospective students interested in using their services may contact Chef School Administration for further details and contact information.
Yes. All of our instructors are industry professionals with years of experience working in restaurants and commercial kitchens. They’re not just teachers—they’re chefs who’ve lived the life and have a variety of different areas of expertise.
Programs typically run 4–5 days per week, about 20–25 hours total. Classes are a mix of theory and hands-on practical kitchen labs.
